A brief history of calligraphy and creativity in style
The phrase "calligraphy painting" is probably very familiar to us, but not everyone understands and appreciates its beauty. First of all, calligraphy is the art of expressing the written word through which the human mind is expressed. Calligraphy has a history of 3,000 years, originating from Chinese and Arabic writing. In Vietnam, calligraphy also has a long history with many unique works spanning more than 10 centuries.
Calligraphy paintings promote creativity with the rule of using a sharp brush to write Chinese characters as well as draw pictures. From the writer's style of holding a pen, using a pen, using ink, etc., calligraphy has become an art. Unlike the diverse use of colors and images as in painting, calligraphy only uses abstract lines under Chinese ink to create a perfect picture.
